Some information to share from the Shaker Arts Council (SHAC): SHAC Call for Presenters – Seeking Presentations for Zoom Webinars

SHAC invites local community members to submit proposals for arts-related lectures/webinars that will be offered during the month of July. These events will be presented via SHAC’s Zoom account as a part of ‘Stay-in-Place Productions.’ Webinars will be free and open to the public. SHAC will not be able to compensate presenters; however, we hope that this opportunity to share your expertise will help give you exposure and promote your business.

Webinars will be scheduled for one-hour slots. The format will begin with presentations and will be followed with a question-and-answer period.

Examples of topics include:

  • How to write contracts between artists and patrons
  • How to sell your art on Etsy
  • Managing stress with the arts
  • Navigating your arts career

Applicants must be 18 or older.

Preference will be given to Shaker Arts Council members.

Become a member:

Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Deadline: June 25, 2020. Applicants will be notified after review by the selection committee.
