Enjoy the LCA Annual End-of-Summer Picnic!
Everyone is invited to enjoy LCA’s FREE annual end-of-summer picnic on Sunday, August 19th from 4 to 7 pm on the grounds of the Ludlow/PEP school (corner of Ludlow and Southington Roads).
The community-wide picnic features food, games, music, and the ever-popular Rocket Ship Car rides. Celebrate the end of summer and meet & greet new and old neighborhood friends.
LCA will provide the hot dogs/buns and Billy’s famous roasted corn on the cob. In the spirit of neighborhood togetherness and fun, everyone is asked to bring food to share as a potluck [accommodating 10 to 12 people). Last names beginning with A thru M, bring a side dish, and last names N thru Z, bring a dessert.
The ‘Euclid Beach Boys’ Rocket Ship Car rides are from 5:30 to 6:30 taking guests around the neighborhood.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and no pets allowed, please. The picnic is a rain-or-shine event and will move indoors with inclement weather.
The free picnic is open to all in the Ludlow community, but it’s also a great time to become a member of the association. A Membership Drive will be part of the activities, and the membership is only $10 per household. Membership fees help support activities like the picnic and other neighborhood initiatives.
If you’d like to volunteer to help with the picnic, please contact the LCA co-presidents: Kevin Lowery – firstname.lastname@example.org and Susan Rotatori – email@example.com.
